Grant Funding

Funded Grants

I have worked on funded projects as Principal Investigator and Co-Investigator. These projects are aimed at improving care for patients with vascular anomalies and enhancing medical education. Most recently, I am serving as a Co-Investigator on a project funded by the National Heart, Blood, and Lung Institute aimed at developing a model of health-related quality of life and patient-reported outcome measures for children with rare and complex vascular anomalies. I also served as Principal Investigator on a project funded by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality focusing on care coordination in rare diseases, a Co-Investigator on a grant from the Department of Defense dedicated to developing online communication tools for clinicians, patients, and families, and a Co-Investigator on a grant from the National Cancer Institute that involves developing a communication tool for parents of children with cancer that is embedded in the electronic health record. I have also received support for projects addressing communication needs, faculty development, and patient-centered research initiatives.
